Information relating to the sighting of the new crescent moon for May 2018 (Ramadan 1439 AH) can be found here.

HMNAO predictions suggest that the new crescent moon is likely to be sighted on the evening of Wednesday May 16th for most of the world. The whole world should see it the following day, Thursday May 17th.

Eid al-Fitr — June 2018

Information relating to the sighting of the new crescent moon for June 2018 (Shawwal 1439 AH) can be found here.

HMNAO predictions suggest that the new crescent moon is likely to be sighted on the evening of Thursday June 14th for a significant proportion of the western hemisphere. The whole world should see it the following day, Friday June 15th.
